We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OSP Node Upgrade Project Supervisor to oversee and manage the successful execution of our OSP (Outside Plant) node upgrade projects. As a Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and ensuring the timely and efficient completion of node upgrade activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for OSP node upgrade projects.
- Coordinate with internal management, to ensure project objectives are understood and aligned.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.
2. Team Leadership and Management:
- Supervise a team of technicians involved in OSP node upgrade activities.
- Provide guidance, support, and technical expertise to team members.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and promote a culture of safety and excellence.
3. Quality Control and Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and safety guidelines.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of work performed.
- Address any deficiencies or non-compliance promptly and effectively.
4. Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any technical, logistical, or scheduling issues.
- Provide regular project updates to management and stakeholders, including progress reports and risk assessments.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, reports, and records of work performed.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports, highlighting key metrics, milestones, and any deviations from the planned scope.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in OSP node upgrade projects, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications networks, OSP infrastructure, and node upgrade processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
