Have 2 spots open, looking to start individuals with right experience as early as 7 July. This is long term, year round work. All jobs are within a 25 minute drive radius.
Pay
2400 is a 5 day work week at our most basic rate doing 4 jobs a day. Saturday optional. Net 21 days. Rates and Complete Tool List will be provided in response to emailed applicant packages.
Qualifications
Must have experience installing Aerial Drops. Minimum fiber experience needed. Fiber splicing experience is a plus. Fiber Installation experience is preferred , but not required.
Other Requirements
You need to have: Pickup, Van or SUV with ladder rack - 28' fiberglass ladder with hooks. v notch, and levelers - Prefer techs with splicer, but options are available - Safety equipment: steel toe lace up boots with 1/2" heel, cones, vest, hard hat, climbing belt, and lanyard - Smart phone (iphone/Android) - Laptop with ethernet jack
Job Description
Drop is hung, box is mounted, end is spliced, light is verified, equipment is placed and activated.
Average install is 2 to 2 1/2 hrs. Most techs doing 4 jobs a day. Equipment activation and account setup is usually a 30 to 40 minutes of the total process.
Someone will run your route with you the first day to make sure you understand the process and help is always available by text or phone with other techs.
A neat and professional appearance, with excellent communications skills, attention to detail and paperwork, will make this the right opportunity for you.
