Qualifications
Organized individual with excellent communications skills, both oral and written. Five plus years experience in aerial and underground cox=ax splicing. Skilled operating a personal computer and versed in MS Word and Excel. Must be willing to travel when necessary. Must have valid driver's license. Must pass DOT Physical and Drug Screen.
Job Description
• Deploy coax splicers to meet production deadlines of multiple projects.
• Ensure compliance to all system, equipment and manufacturer specifications relative to coax splicing.
• Review on an ongoing basis the schedules of our customers.
• Maintain an inventory of tools and test equipment in the splicing department.
• Develop and oversee the training of coax splicers.
• Work with Fleet Manager to ensure the coax splicing fleet is maintained to meet the department’s needs.
• Work with QC Manager to ensure that the department personnel performs to the high standard of workmanship required by BAS.
