Seeking all positions: Aerial & UG Foreman, Linemen, Operators, Apprentices, and Laborers. $18/HR - $36.75/HR based on position applied, experience, and certifications.
Qualifications
-A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. -Previous telecommunications utility work or Graduate from a Utility Worker Program. -Ability to climb poles and use a fiberglass extension ladder. -Lift and maneuver up to 60 pounds over their head on a daily basis. - Work in extreme weather conditions. -Valid Driver License and be insurable under the Company’s Automobile Insurance. -CDL preferred but not required.

Job Description
[b]AERIAL[/b]
- Read and interpret documents in the form of work orders, including (but not limited to) strand maps, PDF prints, Bentley prints, and any other CATV/fiber related document. Provide daily pay sheet and associated as built documentation at the end of each shift.
- Assist Foreman in managing a crew.
o Directs and helps Groundhand maintain an organized and clean aerial cable placing truck that is properly tooled and stocked daily.
o Verifies with Groundhand that all tools and equipment (including trailer) are in good working order daily.
o Maintain a professional attitude with crew and the general public and insure the crew members maintain a professional attitude.
o Directs the crew to proper positions from start to finish at each job site while still performing their own work at the highest level.
- Understands and can perform all work associated to aerial cable placement and is able to follow construction methods at a distinguished level. (Adhering to NESC & TWC Construction codes)
o Installation of strand and associated hardware
o Pole transfers & banding attachments
o De-lash and re-lash of active cables and fiber without causing damage to cables and/or fiber.
o Installation of aerial fiber optic cable
o Installation of aerial coaxial cable
- Employee must consider safety to themselves and crew members the top priority.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
