Candidates will have a strong work history, willingness to learn, and a displayed aptitude and commitment to the cable/lineman field • Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner • Ability to read and interpret construction prints, plans, and specifications • Basic knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner • Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistanc

Perform general labor duties related to telecommunications construction: loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment

Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more

Safely operate mechanized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators, and more
•
Set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, safety barriers, etc
•
Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies
