Adding companies, independent contractors, and employees to our storm list for damage assessment and wire guarding.
This work would take place during emergency and storm events that causes power outages. We work for most major electric owned utilities.
Premium rates - 16 hr shifts - paid from portal to portal (mobilization, work time, & demobilization). Fuel, hotels, and food will be reimbursed with receipts. All of this is provided by utility company when on property.
Damage Assessor
- technical expertise to perform damage assessment reviews, recognize hazards of electrical equipment, and keep the public and themselves safe from harm, including setting up a perimeter during adverse weather events.
- Identify common electrical equipment found on a pole i.e., transformers, cutouts, primary wire, secondary wire, etc.
- Distinguish electrical equipment from telecommunications such as telephone and cable wire.
- Distinguish leaking transformers, blocked roads, tree, or tree debris on electrical utility equipment.
Driver
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for vehicle assigned to them. Must have general knowledge of common electrical equipment found on a pole i.e., transformers, cutouts, primary wire, secondary wire, etc.
Wire Guard
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for vehicle assigned to them. Must have general knowledge of common electrical equipment found on a pole i.e., transformers, cutouts, primary wire, secondary wire, etc.
