Job Description

We are looking for a project manager/construction coordinator for growing telecommunications construction company in the Hampton Roads area. Candidate should have experience in coax and fiber construction.

Preferred 5 years in the telecommunications industry

-Self motivated, positive attitude and excellent communication skills

-Understanding of coax and fiber plant and construction procedures and materials

-Candidate should be well-organized, proactive, resourceful, flexible, able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers, meet deadlines

-Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and word processing programs

-Flexibility in working overtime as needed to meet project deadlines

-Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions


-Tracking all jobs and keeping the customer informed about project status and issues that may affect deadlines

-Assisting in obtaining and tracking permits and locate tickets

-Creating and maintaining project files, and associated support documentation

-Other duties as assigned
