Qualifications
Experience with own tools and splicing equipment.(Preferable) 2-5 years experience prepping and splicing OSP and ISP cables and enclosures. Work Active cases and perform midspan entries. Troubleshooting/ verifying Viable fiber. We have occasional large count work. The work requires lowering and rehanging cases as well as the needed work to verify continuity, to the site and install MUXS as needed. Tyco and LG cases.
Other Requirements
Must have previous experience in fiber Construction, and splicing must have clean driving record and be able to work independently without supervision. And must be able to read and understand maps.
Job Description
We have a fiber trailer and buckets for experienced splicers. We have small and large fiber counts. 48 up to 288 with large cases. Must be able to prep work must look neat and everything must be tested. All Burns done right the first time. And cases built and hung correctly you don't get paid to go back.
