Job Description

Long term OSP fiber build in Charlotte area and surrounding. Full time, in-office position.

Who we are looking for…..

You have 5+ years’ experience in OSP Fiber Pathway Construction (Underground and Aerial).
You have previous working knowledge of FTTP standards, practices and regulations pertaining to the construction of fiber optic facilities.
You have previous knowledge of OSP construction methods and engineering requirements.
You have working knowledge of Microsoft office products
You have effective communication skills.
You have a High School Diploma or GED.  
You have a valid driver's license.
You have the ability to travel.


What you will do…..

You will manage schedules, to meet installment milestones and phases as to not hinder property construction
You will review and make changes (if necessary) to designs and correlating billing of materials to meet necessary needs for completion of property builds.
You will monitor installation to in-house and subcontractor performance in accordance with: scope of work, billing of material, and quality.
You will monitor and prioritize multiple projects to assure completion is within appointed deadline.
You will conduct Site Surveys/Site Walks for constructability consideration.
You will work hand in hand with Engineering to create cost effective designs and billing of material.
You will supervise in house performance, including scheduled written reviews to insure both you and the employee are aware of the expectations in relation to their job.
You will schedule/attend meetings with at third party properties/locations (i.e Precons).
You will report daily completion of OSP and/or MxU work and Schedule OSP and/or MxU in a timely fashion.
You will QC submitted/completed work to ensure it meets scope of work standards.
You will review and Redline work prints when/if necessary.
You will assist with coordination of submissions to Close-Out Packages.
You will prepare and submit status reports to customers and management
You will maintain accurate consumptions reports for materials
