UG personnel with conventional trenching, boring and excavation methods. Competent with all aspects of UG construction.
Job Description
Established firm is looking to add full time, in-house technicians. No contractors or 1099 personnel.
Work is new UG construction, replacement and repair of coax and fiber. Work is primarily main line, service feeds and fiber. We are not currently placing residential house drops. Candidate would preferably have 2 years' experience in the field. Ability to read system prints is helpful. Work is M -F, with a possibility of Sat OT.
Willing to train the right candidate with similar work history.
Employees who are hired and retained past the 90-day probationary period will receive a $500.00 sign on bonus.
This is a manual labor position. Prior experience with work in the fields of utility placement, a valid CDL license is a plus.
Qualifications
Clean, neat appearance.
Be able to work in a team environment.
Be able to lift 75 pounds, follow OSHA safety procedures.
Pass company physical requirement guidelines.
Have a valid CT driver's license.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Pass a pre-employment drug test.
Pass criminal and MV background screening.
Paid Holidays, clothing allowance, sick days, paid vacation and accrued time off available after probation period. 401k with employer match is also offered.
