Proficient bucket truck for aerial; valid Driver's License and insurable with company's insurance; underground directional drilling and locating experience a plus; willing to follow directions and work hard; able to work in various climates--extreme heat, cold, wind, rain; able to work individually and in teams, strong communication skills

Employee will be responsible for completing tasks associated with the construction of fiber and coax lines. Candidates for this position should have strong communication skills and a firm understanding of the principles involved in the planning, design and construction of overhead or underground telecom lines. The ideal candidate for this position must possess the ability to work well in a team environment and meet project deadlines. Aerial personnel must be able to climb poles, be competent with all aspects of aerial cable construction--relocates, pole transfers, new construction, strand, lash, and other skills associated with communications construction. From time to time, aerial crews are required to push/pull fiber and assist underground crews as needed. Underground personnel will be responsible in assisting drillers and locators with restoration, potholing, locating other utilities, and other tasks related to underground cable construction. The right candidate must be able to work in all-weather elements from heat, cold, rain, and snow. Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Experience of 2 years or more desired, but not required. Must be able to pass drug screening and industry-standard background check. Company provides all necessary equipment, tools, and vehicle to complete work assignments.
