2 years CWDM, DWDM, FTTH experience. Ability to prep and splice loose tube and ribbon fiber, operate and understand OTDR, power meters, VFL.
Job Description
CAT5's in-house fiber splicer's position involves the splicing of CWDM/DWDM circuits with loose tube and ribbon fiber. OTDR measurements and other testing is required. A complete understanding of plant maps, cut sheets and other splicing documentation is essential.
All in-house candidates would utilize CAT5’s trucks, tools and equipment while receiving our full benefit package as outline below. This is year around, long term work for major telecommunications companies in the area.
