Applicant must have 5years experience in OSP fiber; proficient with core alignment splice machines and OTDRs; 5years experience trouble shooting, testing, prepping, and splicing fiber optic cable. Applicant must be able communicate with customers and computer skill are a plus. Applicant must be proficient at completing and maintaining paperwork, as-builts, Etc. Applicant must be able work at heights and repeatedly lift over 50 pounds. Applicant must be able to pass drug screening and background

Applicant MUST be able to operate or be trained to operate a bucket truck. Applicant must be able to pass drug screening and background check (No Felonies). Applicant must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Company vehicle, Splicing/ Testing equipment, Phone, Laptop and hand tools will be provided.

We are looking for a Full-time In-House fiber optic technician to start ASAP. We need a hard-working individual that has experience: working with existing splice enclosures/ FDPs. Installing new splice enclosures /FDPs and preforming Mid-Sheath entries on cables loaded with traffic. Employee will be responsible for trouble shooting OSP fiber to find damages and repair damages in a timely manner. This position does require a flexible schedule. There will be night work and occasional weekend work, some scheduled maintenance and some emergency restoration work.
