Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED, Valid Drivers License, Successful completion of company's pre-employment testing, including background check, and pre-employment drug/alcohol testing.
Other Requirements
Frequent crawling, occasional prolonged standing, and frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, and stretching. Eye hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to read well and to distinguish letters, symbols, and measurements. Ability to lift and maneuver an extension ladder. Ability to crawl and maneuver in crawl spaces, attics, basements, and similar confined spaces. Ability to work independently, adhere to company safety policies.
Job Description
Install all wiring and conduit for fiber and coax installations. Technician may be exposed to inclement weather while working inside and outside customers home / business. May be required to work near, about, adjacent to, and at times upon energized ("Hot") lines and equipment from power companies. Technician must possess the necessary skill, knowledge, training, and experience to work safely and prevent personal injury or property damage while preforming their daily tasks. This will be for installing services to businesses and customer homes. We are also looking for aerial lineman, coax splicers, and fiber splicers.
