Job Description
We are seeking a local Southwest OR (Eugene, Medford and KFalls) project coordinator for one of the fastest growing telecommunications construction companies in the country. Candidate should have experience in both ISP and OSP fiber construction.
We are seeking an individual with several years in the telecommunications industry, Must be driven, Self-motivated, have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Must have an understanding of fiber plant, construction procedures and materials. Hunter Fiber knowledge here would be a plus but we can bring up to speed on the local SOW.
Candidate should be well-organized, proactive, resourceful, flexible, able to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, be able to walkout jobs with the customer both pre and post work being completed, Must be able to assist, educate and guide vendors while meeting deadlines.
Proficiency with Penguin Data, spreadsheets, email and Calendars are a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tracking all jobs assigned to you, tracking vendors progress and keeping team and customers informed daily of progress and project status.
Able to perform pre and post walk walkouts with customer and vendor and make sure that PO and Maps match what we are issued and asked to do, resolving any issues that may affect deadlines and or pay issues prior to starting the work.
