Union Scale: Crew Foreman- $38.31 plus $6.18 union benefits. Linemen- $26.50 plus $6.18 union benefits. Groundmen- $20.77 plus $6.18 union benefits. Payscale for linemen/groundmen can increase after 3 month probationary period.
Qualifications
Aerial Foremen must have 5yrs. of proven experience, Linemen must have 2yrs of proven experience, Groundmen 1-3 yrs. of proven experience.
Other Requirements
All applicants are required to complete a pre-hire drug screening and background check.You must have a valid drivers license. You also must have a valid OSHA 10 card or be willing to take a 10hr online OSHA course before being hired.Must be able to lift more than 50lbs. Must be able to travel from job location to home in your own vehicle.
Job Description
All aspects of aerial construction including new strand placement, overlash onto existing cables, installing utility poles, installing down guys and anchors. Underground construction will be included for pulling fiber through innerduct and or PVC.
Must be able to work in inclement weather.
Must be willing to join IBEW Local 1249 as a telecommunications outside plant linemen.
