Qualifications
Must provide trucks, equipment trailers, cable trailers, boring rigs, rods, locators, compressors, or missiles. Must be knowledgeable and able to read cable installation prints. No mixed crews, must be a boring or missile crew
Other Requirements
Must have (6) six signs per crew for state roads. Must have (20) 36-inch cones for roadside protection
Job Description
The work in North Carolina is in rural areas with only one cable in the ground along the roadside with sandy soil conditions. Most of the work is Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm. As time will allow the daylight will extend the workday as Spring comes.
We are placing a 1 1/4-inch pipe with some handholes, pedestals, and flower pots.
The winter weather is very favorable in North Carolina, the average temperature is in the mid-fifties.
