Standard Driver’s License Preferred, CDL preferred, Clean MVR, Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, & periodic random drug testing, Strong work ethic, Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude, Able to work in a fast-paced environment, The ability to work safely, with or without supervision, Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, written, or oral instructions.

This is a full-time position assisting the Construction Crew / Project Managers in taking post construction GIS pictures & labeling all FDH & Ped. Responsible for pre-construction white lining for locates, calling in locates and tracking, updating all locates/ blue stakes. Ability to follow the construction design map, confirm all peds/vaults are properly placed in the correct location. If found to be missing, the ability to dig in and place ped as necessary and label the ped correctly. Ability to lift the lid and take a GIS photo of the inside of each ped, put the lid carefully back on, and then label the outside of each ped, taking a 2nd GIS photo showing the ped labeled correctly according to the construction design map. Ability to download photos on to a computer and label each photo taken according to the construction plans and photo labels. Basic knowledge in using computers, downloading files, naming files, zipping files, and emailing. Must be able to drive to construction job sites prior to construction beginning to white line for locates and call in Blue Stakes for Locates. Tracking & updating stakes as necessary. Ability to assist the OSP and ISP Foremen in various inside/outside construction tasks as necessary. Must be able to follow a Construction Design map accurately. Must be able to work outdoors for periods of time in all types of weather. Ability to find and open Peds, using a shovel as needed to find, or set Peds, or use a stick/pole into the ground to locate buried peds, vaults, etc.
