Job Description – Construction Manager
• Reporting to the Area Project Manager
• Telecom and/or construction experience required
• Construction manager will direct daily work of the crews. Includes visiting the work sites to ensure safety practices are being followed, crews are delivering productive quality work are building according to plan
• Read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the underground crews such as approval of time sheets, equipment, and material needs
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the public
• Work with permitting entities, utility owners and property owners to ensure that the projects are completed in a manner consistent with our permits and right of way agreements
• The candidate must be well-organized, able to communicate with staff, meet deadlines, and perform with high professionalism
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a positive attitude
• Adhere to company policies, regulations, procedures, and principles
