Job Description
Wise Connect, Inc. is seeking Fiber Splicing Subs in Kyle, TX
Responsibilities:
• Read and understand splice schematics, prints, maps, and work orders
• Track daily production and accurately as-built completed work
• Setup various enclosures including Preform Coyote, FOSC 450D, and FOSC 600 cases
• Splice single fiber and ribbon fiber up to 864F
• Bidirectional testing of fiber
• Fusion splicers for both ribbon and loose tube
• Test equipment capable of providing OTDR trace and bidirectional loss reports. Client prefers EXFO equipment used for these, but have accepted reports from AFL equipment in the past
• Splice enclosures/minor materials will be provided by our client
• Must be available to work flexible hours. Weekend work may be required
• Must pass background check and drug test
