$45 per hour plus $2,000 sign on bonus. Benefits package includes: medical and dental insurance, paid holidays, vacation pay and 401k plan.
Qualifications
A bucket truck and tools are required for position.
Other Requirements
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screen. Valid state driver’s license and non-negligent driving record. Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. Ability to visually perceive differences in wire and cable colors. Must be able to work flexible hours with the understanding that workdays can be in excess of normal hours and some weekend and holiday work may be required. Ability to be “on call” and “on standby” in relation to.
Job Description
We are looking for dependable, hardworking employees with a valid driver’s license and good driving record, who enjoy working outdoors. ITC Service Group provides full turnkey site development, site acquisition, technical services, maintenance, in-building, DAS and project management to our clients. In this role, you will provide support to field crews.
Job Summary:
Perform aerial installation of fiber or copper drops from main service connections to exteriors of residences and businesses while meeting safety and installation quality standards. Perform installations of aerial cable using a Bucket Truck as required in residential and commercial environments.
MUST HAVE A BUCKET TRUCK.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for observance and compliance of all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Safely, efficiently install aerial cables in residential and commercial environments meeting all company and client specifications.
Use best practices for the installation of aerial wiring so as not to violate NEC and local building codes.
Complete work according to company specifications & quality standards.
Manage worksite according to high safety standards, including setting up traffic control signage and following safety procedures with all work equipment.
Uphold company conduct standards
Clean, maintain, and organize stock for company vehicles and prepare equipment to safely perform required duties and reflect the highest brand standards.
Meet Company Completion & Productivity Rate targets.
Complete and maintain records as required, including completion of all required information on work orders to ensure details. of work are recorded accurately for entry into Company systems.
Keep accurate records of materials used on a per job basis.
Participate in ongoing educational opportunities in order to maintain current knowledge of fiber network operations, technology changes and matters as they relate to the position needs (will attend specified training classes and or seek certifications when required).
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of various technologies, devices, and equipment used in the course of the position’s normal responsibilities.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle both internally and externally.
Perform other duties as assigned in order to fulfill the objectives of the company and this position.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience performing aerial drops
Reliable transportation, in the form of a Bucket Truck, to and from the job sites
Work boots, appropriate work attire
Ability to work in an outdoor environment during all times of the year
Ability and willingness to follow direction from Supervisor
Valid Drivers License
Must be able to work in the United States.
Physical Demands:
Work involves standing, talking, hearing, using hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reaching with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and smell. Skill in operation of some of the listed tools and equipment; and ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods of time.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must frequently push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 100 pounds.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in inclement weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
