Valid Driver's License, Open to all levels of Experience depending on position, CDL preferred but not required (we have a CDL program for employees),

Positive Attitude, good work ethic, and a priority for safety, Punctual and dependable, all candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment, tools, and supplies. Reads utility locates, coordinates potholing, and ensures the safety of existing facilities. Operates motor vehicles during travel to/from jobsites. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Description
Surefire Construction, Inc. is currently seeking full time employees to fill several positions on our HDD team, we are looking for Foreman, locators, operators and laborers.
Foreman - Oversight of the jobsite and all team members on site, responsible for the smooth running of the operation, ensuring safety is the priority and followed through by all employees. Needs to have a solid foundation and understanding of telecommunication work, ability to read and understand fully job prints. Responsible for calling and maintaining locates, completing daily production and as-builting, etc. Prefer a candidate with experience running both Vermeer and Ditch Witch drills as well as DCI and Subsite locators. Ability to operate equipment, including, but not limited to directional drills, HDD locating systems trencher, backhoe & excavators
Locator - Ability to read and understand job prints, review, understand and plan for locates on the ground, lay out laborers and potholing teams to prepare shot. Minimum 1 year experience with either Subsite or DCI locating systems. Prefer locators with some operator experience as well. Ability to operate equipment, including, but not limited to directional drills, HDD locating systems trencher, backhoe & excavators
Operator - Ability to read and understand job prints, review, understand and plan for locates on the ground, lay out laborers and potholing teams to prepare shot. Minimum 1 year experience with either Ditch Witch or Vermeer directional drills. Prefer operators with some locating experience as well. Laborers - Entry level position and we will train for advancement. Must have valid drivers license and a positive attitude.
