Experience with splicing loose tube & ribbon fiber, OTDR and testing experience in the field, trouble shooting fiber, being able to read splice packages and complete splicing turnover upon completion of the job. Good communication skills with in-house personnel and customers fiber engineers.

Must have a valid drivers license, willing to work a flexible schedule to meet our customer needs in the field.

Splicers should be self motivated individual with experience in both ribbon and loose tube. Knowledge in testing fiber and trouble shooting problems in the field. They need to be able to read and understand splice packages of several different customers, need to be to complete and document the project for splicing turnover to each customer in a timely manner, Maintain a clean work environment and maintain equipment/vehicle to proper working order ( all equipment, trailers, and trucks are new at this time), Splicers need to be able to have good communication skills with both in house management and our customers in order to provide the best service possible, must have the ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere depending on the scope of the work being completed.
