Basic knowledge/ability to operate various types of utility trucks, equipment, tools and equipment. Valid driver's license. Must be authorized to work in the US and pass a drug test and background check. Must be able to drive 1 ton trucks and pull a bumper pull trailer. Preferred Qualifications: 6 months of experience in utility construction, ability to read prints and interpret utility maps to identify the type and size of underground utilities.

Must be willing to work 10 hours per day, 5-6 days per week. May be required to work after hours; weekends, emergencies or on-call. Must be able to lift/carry 50 LBS regularly and up to 100 LBS as needed with or without assistance. Ability to work while wearing safety boots, safety glasses, and hardhat. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions which can include but is not limited to extreme heat and cold temperatures. Employee may be exposed to dust, fumes, or other airborne pathogens.

* Ground hand duties will include general labor duties related to telecommunications construction as directed by the foreman/supervisor
- Hand dig using shovel and mechanical tools
- Flag or paint lines for locators
- Restore property to condition found in or better
- Pothole and expose existing utilities in accordance with state and local Dig Laws
- Assist with boring and locating for directional drilling
