Are you ready to be a part of a successful technology construction company? Ironsides is seeking Directional Drill Operators to work in the Telecom field throughout the Little Rock, Arkansas area. The Directional Drill Operator's primary role is to implement all directional drilling plans and procedures, oversee all drilling operations, and ensure compliance to all drilling objectives.
Responsibilities:
The Directional Drill Operator will operate horizontal/directional drill rigs, locating equipment and product support equipment for the installation of underground utilities including telecommunications cable conduit, fiber optic cable, natural gas and water facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of work practices related to the underground construction field to support utility infrastructure construction including safe operation of equipment, appropriate PPE and participating in daily and weekly safety talks.
Job Requirements:
• Drilling Experience preferred.
• HDD drilling experience preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA.
• Must possess a valid drivers license and be eligible to drive.
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle check.
• Must have experience pulling trailers.
• Must have commitment to safety rules and regulations.
