Job Description
Responsibilities
-Lineman is an active, hands-on position that supports the day-to-day activities within an aerial telecom construction crew
-Lineman is responsible to actively participate in job site and crew safety and must exhibit and uphold Tilson's safety values
-Must have a working knowledge of telecommunications aerial construction including make ready requirements, strand placement, cable placement, lashing, over-lashing, guying and other aerial telecom construction work flows.
-Must understand and take direction from Foreman on a daily basis and participate in the construction activities of an aerial telecom construction crew.
-Responsible for safe operation of all aerial bucket trucks and equipment
Qualifications
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Strong work ethic and desire to be a leader
-Must be a clear and effective communicator and have a positive attitude
-The ability to take direction from aerial construction crew management
-Valid US Driver's License
-Able to work in a fast-paced, outside environment
-The ability to work safely, with or without supervision
-Ability to operate equipment, including, but not limited to aerial bucket truck, lashing equipment, and other equipment
-3+ years experience working on an aerial telecom construction crew
-OSHA 10/30
-CDL preferred
