Salary: Starting at $51 per drop depending on experience/ pay is per job and 1099
This technician will work in support of our customers to bury and/or bore underground telecommunication cables to a home that have been placed by service technicians. This is accomplished through the use of company issued specialized trenching and boring machinery for situations involving sidewalks, driveways, and streets, along with, hand placement using hand tools where necessary.
Primary Responsibilities:
Bury service lines minimum 6” depth with hand trenching when required and with drop plows
Read and understand existing underground facility locates
Identify and locate unmarked utilities
Restore job site to the original condition
Responsible for damages
Review all requested and existing services with the customer before installation of new lines
This individual should be self-motivated with the ability to follow oral and written instructions and who can demonstrate the ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with coworkers. Utility construction experience is a plus but not mandatory as we offer a training program. Must be able to also successfully pass a background check, and drug screen.
