We are looking for highly motivated PM's with the knowledge and experience to run their own jobs from start to finish. You will get to work with in-house crews and subcontractors in order to complete your projects. You will also have administrative support from our home office.

Other Requirements

Have extensive knowledge of the OSP construction process as well as the ability to use multiple software programs for daily reporting. You must have good communication skills and be able to professionally discuss details of projects with the customer, homeowners, and your crews.

Currently seeking experienced and talented OSP (Outside plant) Project Managers to join our team. We are focused on growing our organization!

Responsibilities:

Project manager (PM) will own the project from start to finish and will be responsible for meeting project timeline goals.

-The PM will manage the aerial, underground, and splicing crews on a project to make sure all aspects are handled according to our standards.

-The PM will use our software programs to manage prints, daily reports, and close out procedures for jobs.

-The PM will have the knowledge and experience to answer questions and provide guidance to the crews beneath them.

-The PM will conduct on-site job training and safety training to help build a strong work force.

-The PM will coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to facilitate project completion.

-The PM will be the face of the company when interacting with customers and will always strive for excellent service.

-This person will have a strong presence among their crew members and should lead everyone to excellence.

-The OSP PM should have working knowledge of all linemen and underground responsibilities including:

*Ability to safely operate a bucket truck, placing and removing poles, climb poles as needed, and utilize standard tools of the trade.

*Hanging fiber optic cable and strand, coax, copper cables on poles.

*Pulling fiber/coax through existing duct package, pull cable through conduit either manually, blowing, or mechanically, and splice and activate underground and aerial lines.

*Set up traffic control signs and cones and direct traffic as needed.

*Close a project by completing daily production sheets, verifying proper levels after activation, and adjust and troubleshoot as necessary

*Flexibility to work across all divisions (aerial, underground, fiber, coax)

*Willing to work outside in varying weather conditions

Ability to travel is necessary for this position.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Experience in aerial & underground fiber construction is required.

Class A or B commercial driver’s license preferred but not required

Proficient in new build, splicing, fiber installation, and pole transfers

Knowledge in building strand, lashing/over lashing, pole transfers, vertical grounds, and building and repairing aerial telecommunication transmission lines.

Ability to lift or pull up to 75 pounds
