Qualifications
•Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, familiarity with hand tools and other equipment needed for various projects, including but not limited to lashers, drills, forklifts, etc. •Experience and/or demonstrated proficiency in the operation and maintenance of construction equipment and cable construction •Ability to work in a constant state of alertness, in a safe manner, under stressful conditions
Other Requirements
•Ability to work in and walk over all types of terrain (grass, gravel, ditches, etc.) in and around construction zones, residential, commercial, industrial, and rural areas in all types of weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, etc.) •Ability to work standing, lifting arms at shoulder height and overhead, for extended periods in various weather conditions •Must be able to stand, lie, and kneel in awkward positions and spaces and lift and pull objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
Job Description
Ground Crewman will be responsible for transporting and assisting Ground Crew with ground new build and maintenance of communication facilities which includes fiber and coaxial cable. This is a safety sensitive position.
