Job Description
We are looking for a Cable Installation Supervisor to work out of Bridgeport, CT.
What you will do:
You will work in a fast paced and time sensitive environment.
You will handle multiple tasks and last minute changes per the customer or corporate mandate.
You will be a positive light of adversity and change while performing excellent customer service.
You must have EXCEPTIONAL customer service
You must have previous leadership experience in the installation business.
You will supervise a team of employees
You will coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of field staff
You will coordinate scheduling and ensure adequate staffing.
You will identify problem areas in the department and communicate problems and possible solutions to the Project Manager.
You will develop procedures and implement them to better organize the team/department.
You will assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to the lead technicians.
You will assist in recruitment and training efforts.
You establish, implement, and maintain operating standards and procedures for project reporting and documentations.
You will perform quality control inspections and correct issues and complaints.
You will perform various Cable Technician duties as needed, including but not limited to, carrying and climbing a ladder when necessary.
You will complete other assignments asked of you.
You will perform mandatory job site inspections to ensure employee compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
Who we are looking for:
You need a minimum of 1 year cable installation experience.
You need a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
You must be able to work a very flexible schedule.
You must be a team player.
We prefer former supervisory experience, but it is not required.
You must be able to pass Background and Drug screening.
You must have a valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience and a good driving record.
You must have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
You must have the ability to carry a 28' ladder from truck to pole.
You must have the ability to work in tight spaces such as a crawl space or attic of a house.
You must have the ability to work in all kinds of weather conditions.
You must have the ability to Walk, sit, kneel & crouch for the majority of the day.
