Long Term Project 2+ years/No Material Cost/21 Net No Retainer/Direct Deposit Paid Weekly/Current Rates: based on knowledge, speed, experience and services completed; $32 per hour worked. Call for specifics
Qualifications
Truck/Van with rack and 28" ladder, Own Tools (list will be provided). Safety Harness, iPhone or Android device, Valid Driver License, Necessary Certificates of Liability coverages (Auto, General, Workers Comp)
Other Requirements
Past/Trainable fiber technician-wants to get into the newest and fastest form of connected communication, experience installing Cable TV, Direct TV, Dish, Fiber I&R, Telco Experience, CATV, Coax, Fiber drops, ONT, & Routers/ Previous experience contracting AT&T, Comcast, Cox, Frontier, Lumen, TDS, Spectrum, or Verizon is highly preferred. Ability to pass written exam, 1 aerial install, 1 underground install.

• Install, and replace fiber cable; outside & inside. Make various attachments to poles and buildings
• Running drops, splicing fiber, and mounting hardware, to include internet hubs, routers, and wireless extenders inside the home
• Work may require climbing poles and/or ladders, crawling under dwellings or into attics and fishing walls.
• Some jobs may require installing Telephone and CAT5 wiring
• Customer Service skills
• Basic knowledge of Fiber
• Experience safe ladder climbing
• Understanding of routers and wireless home networking
• Understanding of loss, attenuation and tiling
• Working within confined spaces
• Computer/Phone skills
