Coax and Fiber Splicers Needed in San Antonio
CAT5 Construction Services is seeking aerial and underground coax and fiber splicers in San Antonio. The coax splicer must be experienced in mainline coax splicing, forward/reverse activation, pop and documentation. The fiber splicer must be experienced in loose tube and ribbon fiber splicing, DWDM, CWDM and GPON architecture, frequency specific OTDRs and all types of trouble shooting and documentation. Also, proper use of a bucket truck, and traffic control devices is required. Included may be pre-construction surveys, cable pulling, and other duties as needed. All aerial and underground splicing and activation must be in accordance with customer specifications and industry standards.
This is year around, long term work for major telecommunications companies in the area. Interested candidates must provide an email address, phone number and a brief work history when replying to this ad.
Offered for these positions are 3 choices of compensation. You may elect in-house hourly or production pay, as well as independent subcontracting. Inhouse candidates would utilize CAT5’s trucks, tools and equipment while receiving our full benefit package as outline below. Subcontractors would be responsible for supplying labor, trucks, tools, meters, equipment and insurance.
