Must have all tools and equipment necessary to splice and reliable transportation. Must have proof of liability, auto, and workers compensation insurance.
Job Description
This is for an assignment in Arkansas. We are seeking a fiber tech who has experience with:
Fiber optic cable termination
Multiple cable fusion splicing
Basic testing
Basic troubleshooting
Reading prints and identifying individual fiber cable and splice locations for accurate splicing
Pulling cables and doing equipment installation on occasion
Mid-entry splicing
Splice trays, pedestals, cabinets, enclosures and PONs.
Some assignments will require night cutover hours and weekend schedules. Will need to travel to locations in the Southeastern US based on client needs. Certification is a plus or you must be willing to be certified within 60 days of hire.
