Directional Drill Locator - HDD needed ASAP

Capacity to read and understand blueprints; knowledge of utility depths and placements; general knowledge of construction practices is required. Able to keep good logs and consistent reporting. CDL is a plus.

Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather and work overtime as required. Must be self-motivated and able to work well in groups. Must be able to work in trenches, manholes, tunnels and confined spaces and in work settings with moderate to loud noise levels, able to move in different positions - crouching, kneeling, reaching, bending and lifting 75 lbs., unassisted. All applicants must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsible for assisting Drill Operator in locating drill head and drilling in accordance with blueprints. Verify locate marks and confirm location of existing facilities. Assist with clean-up and other duties as assigned. The Locater is responsible for maintaining equipment per manufacturer’s specifications and safety guidelines.
