Pay
Positions open for 1099 contractors & W2 employees, rates vary. A per diem of up to $100/per each physical day worked will be allotted. Sign on bonus of $2,500 too be paid over the course of 6 months of concurrent work
Qualifications
WE HAVE LIMITED OPENINGS AT INCREDIBLE RATES. DON’T WAIT AND MISS OUT. Applicants must be experienced in Copper & fiber, Pots/DSL, along with troubles, have general knowledge of the fields work and is proficient in the use of test equipment including the Optical Power Meter, Fluke volt/ohm meter, Telephone Test Set, Toners, OTDR/TDR, Underground Cable Locator, laptop, JDSU. We have bucket trucks and meters for lease with a retainage every week worked.
Other Requirements
W-2 Applicants need to be minimum of 18 years old, satisfactory M.V.R. with a Valid Driver’s License. With the ability to problem solve and work independently. Technical & Professional: Knowledge of equipment and steps related to the installation service and maintenance of voice, and/or data at customer sites. Is certified to use ladders. Adheres to company safety policies and practices. Reports to work on time and maintains a satisfactory attendance record.
Job Description
This job will require the technician to perform work for the Central office to the network interface to include all network facilities in between.
Ability to lift and move 60 lbs. and working in inclement weather. Physical Demands: Significant time is spent standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and using ladders and other related equipment. Lifting up to 60 pounds, occasionally above shoulder required. Use of computers and computer-related equipment required. This position also involves fine hand coordination. Must be able to discern dial tone and static on telephone lines. Must be able to discern hazardous materials and have depth perception to climb ladders. Must be able to discern color coded cables and fiber optics. Must be able to carry on telephone and radio conversations.
