Qualifications
Foreman positions must have demonstrated experience managing 3-4 person crew, carry a valid Class A CDL, no restrictions. Experienced equipment operators and laborers responsible for performing a combination of duties to include operating heavy construction equipment and performing manual, physical labor tasks at construction sites for trenching, bore drilling, cable locating and pulling underground fiber optic cabling. Operators must have Class A, preferred for laborers.
Other Requirements
Ideally, seeking local crew in Minnesota. Full drill equipment set up provided. Must maintain safe work environment and follow all safety processes and procedures. All employees must possess a valid driver's license, be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug testing, and other requirements of Class A license holders.
Job Description
Essential Functions
• Operate construction equipment safely in a variety of urban and rural areas
• Perform cable and utility locating duties
• Perform site restoration work
• Must comply with all safety requirements and participate in annual required safety training
• Safely load equipment, secure load, transport and unload construction equipment
• Perform physical labor tasks not limited to potholing, digging with shovels, operating vac machines and loading and unloading materials
• Follow all administrative processes and procedures
• Protects and keeps company proprietary information confidential
• Perform other duties as assigned
This position requires frequent sitting, standing, climbing and bending. Occasional standing, walking, kneeling and crawling is required. Close, peripheral and distant visual abilities are needed including depth perception. Requires ability to left arms above shoulders. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds. The work environment is frequently loud and requires the employee to work in a variety of weather elements including extreme cold and heat.
