Job Description

We are looking to hire a reliable and organized cable technician to install, maintain, and repair television and internet cable systems for residential and business clients.

Average weekly paychecks for our technicians are $1500+. An average shift is 8 am – 5 pm. WE PROVIDE PAID TRAINING

As one of our technicians, you will be responsible for all aspects relating to the Telecommunication and Networking industry such as installing, troubleshooting, repairing and configuring all types of telecommunication equipment, working with different types of wiring, working with all types of cable including Coax, Cat5 / Cat6, working with small components to establish cable connections, understanding signal path, and flows, using hand tools and testing equipment. Responsibility is key, candidates need to be able to perform work safely, able to work independently with little to no direction ensuring quality of the network.

Responsibilities

· Running cables from poles to houses, inside of the house or to a basement if needed

· Verifying signal levels on cable outlets

· Providing TV, Internet, and phone services for our customers

· Installing equipment (modems, cable boxes)

· Troubleshooting

· Customer education

Requirements

· Valid Drivers License (any state) and Social Security Number

· Ability to pass Drug Test

· White minivan or truck

· Ability to carry 28 ft ladder

· Work well under pressure and work both independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to communicate with customers in English

· General working knowledge of computers, laptops, operating systems, emails, PDF, GPS/ Navigation systems, and electronics

· Technicians are responsible for all their work expenses, including gas.

- What truck is allowed to be used for work?
· Any Minivan or pickup truck in white color, with roof rack to put 28 feet ladder.

- Is the training period paid for a technician?
· Yes, $400 to cover training expenses, which are added to the actual 1 st paycheck.
