2 year's experience preferred, valid Texas Driver's License, Must be able to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends, Must have knowledge of Fusion splicing both loose tube and ribbon fiber, able to operate an OTDR
Job Description
• Drive company vehicle in performance of job duties
• Assure crew’s compliance with company safety policies and procedures
• Accurately and timely complete and submit all documents associated with each job including bill of materials, work orders, and splice case audits
• Read and follow maps
• Plan work effectively and complete in a timely manner to meet committed completion dates
• Safeguard and account for company property assigned to your crew and keep accurate records of equipment
• Coordinate work activities courteously and effectively with customers
• Personally, assure the quality of each job according to PS Lightwave standards
• Research and verify fiber routes in all environments
• Retrieve OTDR traces and process if needed
• Additional duties as assigned.
