We are offering you the chance to put your fiber optic building and maintenance skills to use in fast-paced, challenging environments while working with a fast-growing fiber firm.
Job Description
The Fiber Splicer will be able to install, fusion splice and troubleshoot Single Mode Fiber efficiently with guidence of supervision.
Tester will be able to test and troubleshoot newly installed fiber to the home runs efficiently with the guidence of supervision.
If you have experience with both splicing and testing you may do both or one or the other to keep busy.
Experience is preferred but training can be provided.
Including but not limited to the following:
Valid DL and DOT physical card.
Drug free.
Willing to work night shift when required, have ability to lift heavy loads manually, highly motivated individual, must put Safety First, adhere to company policies, follow directions and retain vital training.
Having your own bucket truck/van or lab with insurance is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Fusion splice SM outside plant loose tube, and/or ribbon fiber optic cable.
Must be able to work at heights of 28+' feet.
Lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
The candidate must be able to perform all duties assigned.
Operate aerial lift and other related equipment to perform job functions.
Frequently communicate with management on workload status.
