Salary range $52,000 to $72,800.00 (Based on Experience)
Job Description
Your Compensation Package includes the following:
• Three weeks of vacation every year.
• Full benefits package covering 100% of you, your spouse, and children.
• Company truck only to be used for LTE business.
• Trailer, tools and all the equipment required to perform your daily duties.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
· Ability to read prints, splice matrix, and understand the fiber optic color code to install and test fiber cable in a variety of environments (underground, aerial).
· Ability to use fiber fusion splicing machines and operate a variety of different OTDR and power meters.
· Ability to place of both aerial and underground splice closures along with a variety of other closures common to the splicing and termination of fiber optic cables.
· Perform testing utilizing OTDRs, Power Meter/Light Sources and Fiber Identifier. Record and document testing per customer specifications.
· Have knowledge of telecommunications network structure.
· Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs as needed with or without assistance.
· Must be able to work nights and weekends, if necessary.
· Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
· Possess a valid driver’s license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position.
· Must be able to pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle check, and drug test.
· Maintain a professional working attitude with co-workers and customers at all times and adhere to safety practices.
