Job Description
The Directional Drill Operator is responsible for day to day operations and maintenance of company equipment as well as manual labor needed to support the construction operations of Coastal Fiber LLC.
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Operating and maintaining Directional Drill
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Capability to train crew(s) on all aspects of proper drill operations, adhering to safe work practices
· Drive and perform manual labor as required
Job Requirements
· 5+ years’ experience operating rigs under 20,000lbs.
· Telecommunication experience preferred, but not required
· Rock experience preferred, but not required
· Must be available to work any shift
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Regional travel required, including occasional overnight(s)
