Job Description
Responsibilities
•
The job requires the fielders to work on the ground performing surveys/field audits, gather ground information (in form of taking notes, pictures, measurements, etc.)
•
, interact/coordinate with design engineers, city officials and project managers
•
Projects may include IFP, ASE and BAU activities
Qualifications
•
2+ years of experience in fiber-optic/telecommunications/telecom construction industry
Less experience will also be considered for Trainee positions
•
Willing to Travel 75%-100% of the time
•
Knowledge of outside plant activities (Fiber Cable Design, Pole Line Construction, Conduit System design etc
•
Familiar with GIS (Geographic Information Systems), ESRI etc
•
Understanding of National Electric Safety Code and knowledge of OSP construction and engineering techniques
•
Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Earth
•
High School Diploma and or equivalent work experience
•
Ability to work 90% of the time outdoors
•
Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with acceptable driving record, and current insurance
•
Good organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
