Crew Foremen are responsible for all activities and assignments of immediate crew; are responsible for safety of crew and general public under the guidelines of Company safety policy, and work alongside their crew. The Lineman performs a variety of duties related to the installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of overhead telecommunications lines.

Must pass background check and drug screening. DOT physical required.

• Supervise crew and organize workload, including planning and establishing priorities,and completing assigned tasks within the allotted time
• Perform quality construction
• Be able to read and understand maps
• Operate all related aerial equipment required to perform work
• Climb wood utility poles using climbers
• Perform pole transfers
• Perform all general construction practices, including but not limited to framing poles, installing strand and lashing of aerial cable/fiber
• Responsible for maintaining assigned equipment, tools, and vehicles
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
• Suggest creative and innovative ideas and improvements
• Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as becomes evident
