Fiber Communications Link is looking for a responsible and motivated individual to join our team. We are a small company looking to grow and are in need of a fiber splicer helper. This is an entry level position and if the prospective candidate shows eagerness and a willingness to learn, growth is an opportunity. As a fiber splicer helper, you will assist a lead technician with prepping of fiber optic cables and enclosures, damage restoration, and building of new fiber optic infrastructure. Advancement within the company is preferred.
- Work is mainly during the day, Monday through Friday. However, emergency work, night work, and weekend work may arise. In the event that it does, the prospective candidate would be expected to work. The prospective candidate must also be punctual and have good customer service skills.
- Prospective applicants must have a clean background, reliable transportation, and a valid license, be able to lift 50 pounds, and the ability to distinguish between colors.
- Work is primarily performed outdoors- work in cold and hot weather is required.
