If you're looking to start doing Satellies, you'll probably want to get certified since most companies now require it. It will cost you $195 for the 1&2 class + the test fee for non-members. $150 for members (membership is $320). Now, is it worth it? Not IMO but as I said, if you want to do installations, you'll want to have it. The class and the test is a joke. A sixth grader could pass it.
