Re: Comcast in the Bay area

There was an article in Multichannel News a few weeks ago which reported that Comcast would move quickly on improving the Bay Area and Chicago (and other AT&T systems...64% of their systems are NOT up to par). The primary reason being that subscibers are defecting to DBS.

In a more recent article, Brian Roberts (The Comcast Guy)was quoted as saying major projects would be completed in two years. I haven't seen anything regarding start-up schedules.

Unconfirmed rumors have it that Dycom and Mastec are to be the Primes. If/when you get a piece of this action, do your best work ever and keep the cable industry competitive. LOL
