When times are good, hundreds of people can fill a spot for you. But when times are tough, there aren't very many of us left with the real experience needed to complete projects on time, in the money and with the desired results; the ability to hit the ground running, the know how to effectively create a plan, implement it, monitor its progress and deliver what was promised; the savvy to guide a project from bid to a bottom-line result and bear down on problems immediately. In the area of telecommunications construction I can bring you the ability to make things happen... to meet deadlines... to build and supervise a team... to get results.

I have spent nearly thirty years in the construction game and not just in telecom. If it takes men, money and equipment to get the job done; I can put it all together for you. I am able to travel anywhere, stateside or overseas, and would be available on a permanent or contract basis. I have a BS in Business Administration from Harding University, but my education really comes down to 'knowing what I don't know' and not being afraid to ask.

President/CEO - June 1978 to 1996

Project (representative)

· Plowed fiber, copper or coax in 30 states and bid in 37
· Installed POP/regenerator sites from Salt Lake City to Las Vegas
· Built 'Last Mile' into Kansas City of WilTel's first fiber build in dormant gas lines and new conduit
· 154 miles of aerial, duct installation, proof & pull fiber for MCI in southern Indiana and Ohio
· Lowered and relocated thirty miles of existing fiber placed shallow and out of R/W in Kansas City, Mo. without service interruption
· Constructed, cutover and tested outside and inside fiber, copper and coax at Southwest Oklahoma State University, University of Missouri (EFI), Culver-Stockton College (EFI), University of Missouri St. Louis and Webster University

· Erected spec and custom homes and buildings
· Laid water and sewer in Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma
· Cleared, trimmed and mowed right of ways and property for Utilities, Railroads, Corps of Engineers, and USDA Soil Conservation and Forest Service.

· Operate and manage equipment from under 100 to over 200 horsepower, under 30,000 to over 50,000 pounds, including: trenchers, backhoes, crawlers, trucks and boring machinery
· Oversee all phases of project estimating, bid, proposal, start-up, contract negotiation, drawing and specification review, change orders, coordination, scheduling & close-out
· Inherited projects from others running at losses and brought to completion at a respectable profit
· Completed successful negotiations for projects with first-time clients and subsequent performance as Contractor or Project Manager assured further business with client
