Spike, as far as the output EQ's go, we found the the need for them in the older ISX3 trays to even out the tilts of the output legs...they could vary by a couple of dB, but the 3040's seem to have higher quality components, providing outputs that are almost perfectly matched. From one leg to another, P/V response in these are < 1.0 dB. Now if they could just fix the damn overheating issue!!!!
