All I have ever used/heard of being used(in this era) for sweep (forward & reverse) on SA and Phillips/Magnavox is Wavetek's SDA5000 Stealth and their 3SR meters.
-What are the other alternative meters used in
sweep?
-Do these other meters have the same
functionality as the SDA5000 Stealths? ie.:
-What are MSO's using in their head-ends for transmitters for sweep, generally?
-What, if any, are the benefits of these other meters?
I am wanting to find out if
it would be cost-effective to purchase 10-15 of the SDA5000's for a new company wanting to get into sweep across the
nation.

appreciated, from all over the nation.

explain what sweep equipment you are using, if not Wavetek, and the
advantages/disadvantages.
