You my friend are suffering from a case of optical rectitous. There are good contractors out there. I know them and have worked for some of them and when I hIre sub contractors I am a fair to them. The problem is not the big guys, It is the little guys like you who accept work at too low of a price. Stop that! And even worse, when you don't do your homework and work for a crook, you should expect to get screwed. Stop working for anyone you have not checked out BEFORE working for working for them. I have had no problem getting paid at a good price because I check out everybody BEFORE I work for them.
Im not sure what the Midterms have to do with your optical rectitous and your lack of doing your homework. Unless of course, you are expecting the government to help you. If that is the case then for sure we know where the problem lies.
